When you upload your bundle photos, they're automatically sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI) for visual inspection. No human warehouse, no waiting days for approval.
The AI checks every photo for stains, holes, pilling, broken zips, and disallowed items. It counts pieces, guesses categories, and returns a condition score for each item.
High-confidence bundles go live in seconds. Low-confidence or flagged bundles go to a human reviewer — usually approved within 24 hours.

Common questions
How does matching work?
Our algorithm matches bundles by clothing size, postcode proximity, and style preferences from your child's profile. We aim to match within a few days of your bundle going live.
Why do I have to send before I can receive?
It keeps the chain honest. Everyone contributes before they take — which means the quality and volume of bundles stays high for all families.
What's in a bundle?
8–12 clothing pieces: tops, jumpers, t-shirts, bottoms, dresses, pyjamas, and outerwear. Shoes can be included as a bonus extra but don't count toward the 8–12 minimum. No underwear, swimwear, or worn socks.
How does AI verification work?
When you upload your bundle photos, we send them to the Claude AI (Anthropic's AI) which checks for stains, holes, pilling, broken zips, and disallowed items. It also counts pieces and categories. Most bundles are auto-approved in seconds. If confidence is low, a real person reviews within 24 hours.
What if the AI flags my bundle by mistake?
It goes to our admin review queue and a real person looks at it — usually within 24 hours. You'll see "your bundle is being reviewed" in the app. If the flag was wrong, we approve it and you're on your way.
What if no one matches me within 14 days?
If you've paid and we haven't found a match within 14 days, you get a full automatic refund. No questions, no chasing. A refunded swap doesn't count toward your founding bundle total.
What if the sender doesn't post?
Senders have 5 days to post after receiving the label. If they don't, we void their label, automatically re-match you with a new sender, and send you a fresh label. No extra charge to you.
How are ratings used?
After each swap, both sender and receiver leave a 5-star rating. Ratings affect matching priority — highly-rated senders get matched faster. Consistently low-rated accounts can be suspended.
Where does the $20 go?
$16.25 goes directly to Australia Post for a prepaid medium satchel. The remaining $3.75 is the Swaplings matching fee. After your 4 founding swaps, the standard rate is $21.99 ($16.25 postage + $5.74 fee).
What's a founding member?
The first 100 families to sign up are founding members. They pay $20 flat for their first 4 bundles — roughly one year of seasonal swaps. From bundle 5, they move to the standard $21.99 rate. Only completed swaps count toward the 4; refunded or cancelled swaps don't.
